EDUARDO COHEN D. (Mexico 1939-1995)

Born in Mexico City, Eduardo Cohen studied at the Academia de San Carlos, The Mexico City College (now the University of the Americas), and the drawing and painting workshops of Arnold Belkin, Silva Santamaría, Antonio Rodríguez Luna and Muñoz Medina.
From 1973 till 1994 he taught drawing, painting and art theory. In 1993 he published the book Towards an existential art. Reflexions of an expressionist painter, edited by the Philological Research Institute of the National University of Mexico (UNAM).
